Heat 1 Tbsp oil in large stockpot and brown meat 4–5 minutes. Add broth and water and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes.

Season with hot sauce and place egg slice in each bowl before serving.

Heat 1 Tbsp oil in small skillet and brown onion. Add to stockpot, along with remaining ingredients except hot sauce and egg. Simmer for 20 minutes.
