  • lean ground turkey
    2 lbs
  • poultry seasoning
    1 tsp
  • fennel seeds
    1 tsp
  • onion powder
    1/2 tsp
  • fresh parsley (chopped)
    1 tbsp
  • crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
    1/4 tsp
  • salt
    1/2 tsp
  • black pepper
    1/4 tsp
  • maple syrup
    1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Shape mixture into 28 (2-inch) patties

  2. In a large skillet over medium-low heat, cook patties 3-5 minutes per side, or until no longer pink in center. Serve immediately.

    We love these. I cook all of them, eat some and divide others into 5 small bags for freezing. There’s only 2 of us so freezing is the best option. He has thawed 2 bags at once to make egg and sausage omelets.

    Followed the recipe to the letter. Texture was very firm and rubber-like. Additionally, the fennel flavor was too strong. Hate to waste food but they were inedible.

    Tried these today and I’m partialy cooking and freezing. Super easy to follow and find all the ingredients I needed. I’ll never do store bought again.
