Berry Almond Oatmeal

Directions

In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Stir in oats and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes. Stir in sweetener, fruit, almonds, and extract.

Notes: For creamier oatmeal substitute milk for water (this will change the nutrition information per serving).

I liked this but felt it was lacking on sweetness, the blueberries and Splenda weren't sweetening it at all, maybe trying a different fruit the next time I make this like strawberries, blackberries, or raspberries. Maybe my blueberries just weren't sweet?
